The 34th Calderdale Hike will be held on Saturday, April 14, and entries are now open.
The hike will be open to runners and walkers of 14 years of age or over on the day of the hike.
Two brand new routes have been devised for this year’s hike, much of which lies along the Pennine Way, Pennine Bridleway and Calderdale Way long distance footpaths.
The long route of 37 miles involves over 6,500 feet of climbing, whilst the shorter route of 26 miles has over 4,500 feet of ascent. The longer route is again part of the Ultra Running Championship and both routes are open to runners and walkers.
The routes start and finish at Sowerby Cricket Club
