Wheels in Motion dance performance

Highbury’s Wheels in Motion dance group took to the stage with a special wheelchair performance.

For nine-year-old Alix Punch it was a particularly special moment, having joined the school after leaving Old Earth in September.

Rachel Furness, one of Alix’s teachers who runs Wheels in Motion, said: “It’s absolutely brilliant to show his peers what we’re doing and to get us known in the community. We want more people to embrace what we’re doing and know about it.”

It was all done in conjunction with Old Earth School in Elland which showcased a Strictly Come Dancing competition.
