Siddal will face Warriors in National Conference eliminator

Siddal will face off against Myton Warriors at Chevinedge next Saturday for a place in the National Conference Grand Final after slipping to an 18-12 reverse at Wath Brow.

Gareth Greenwood’s side, who finished second behind the league leaders on points difference after an outstanding season, eventually went down to a 76th minute score from Francis King.

Hornets, who have not lost in Cumbria all season, now go straight through to the decider in a fortnight’s time while Siddal must overcome the Hull-based Warriors to book a fourth consecutive final appearance.
