Elland will have experienced backs Junaid Malik and Dean Bishop back on deck for tomorrow’s trip to Dewsbury Celtic in Division Two of the National Conference.
The pair missed last weekend’s win at Heworth, but return as Karl Fairbank’s side play the penultimate fixture of their 2012 season.
“They’ll both be in contention tomorrow, which should give us a nice boost,” said Fairbank. “They are still chasing the last promotion place, so it’s going to be a tough kind of fixture.
“We’ve nothing to fear; we got a draw against them at home and in the end we were pretty disappointed not to have got the win.
“They’ve obviously got a bigger incentive to get the points this time, so we’ll see whether we can stand up to the challenge.”
Elland go into the game on the back of a 26-12 win at struggling Heworth, with Fairbank’s son Jack scoring a hat-trick in a man of the match performance.
“We were still on the bus early on; they were 12-0 up before we started playing,” said Fairbank.
“In the end, we probably just did what we had to do to win, because they are one of the worst sides we will come up against.”
