Divorty treble as Fax run riot

ROSS Divorty returned to haunt his former club as he scored a hat-trick of first half tries in Fax’s emphatic 60-12 success at Featherstone Rovers.

Fax proved unplayable as they opened up a one point lead at the top of the Co-operative Championship table following their 10-try mauling of their hosts.

Rovers had taken an early lead through Micky Haley’s converted try, but it was all Fax after that as Karl Harrison’s side enjoyed an afternoon to remember.

Prop Adam Robinson also crashed over for two tries with Rob Worrincy, Wayne Reittie, Paul Handforth, Anthony Thackeray and Craig Ashall adding their names to the list.

Lee Paterson continued to prove his worth with the boot, converting all 10 tries for a personal haul of 20 points.
