ELLAND ARLFC are hoping it will be business as usual again on Saturday after being unable to fulfil their National Conference League fixture at East Leeds last weekend.
The side coached by ex-Great Britain international Karl Fairbank called the game off at 1pm.
Club secretary Suzanne Jordan said: “We had 20 lads turn up but 13 of them were injured.
“We rang East Leeds to tell them and also tried to notify the Conference but it was an answer phone.”
Jordan said rumours the club was folding were unfounded.
They were one of several clubs having problems with player availability in the shortened interim season before the switch to summer rugby.
She said Elland were waiting to hear what action the Conference might take against them after the postponement.
Elland are away to Rochdale Mayfield on Saturday and Jordan said that, after speaking to assistant coach Junaid Malik, they were “pretty confident” of getting enough players.
