Halifax are again giving supporters the chance to have their names printed on all the club’s playing and replica shirts, this time at a cut-price offer of £10.
More than 200 fans signed up for the novel scheme last season, paying £25 each to have their names included in a panel on the midriff of the shirt, and raising around £5,000 to help fund the running of the club’s under 20 side.
The success of the offer convinced director Ian Croad to run it again in 2013, this time with an ambitious fund-raising target of £10,000.
“It’s something a little bit different which gives supporters a unique opportunity to get involved,” said Croad.
“The money it raised last year played a significant part in funding the under 20s and nurturing the young local talent that is in that team.
“We’ve cut the price to £10 with the aim of getting even more people signed up.”
The deadline for the deal is mid-October and further details are available from the club on 01422 342792.
