Graham has a lot to offer: Ball

HALIFAX assistant coach Damian Ball has said the club’s playmakers would be “silly” not to take advantage of the arrival of veteran stand off Graham Holroyd in a player-coach role.

Holroyd rejoined his hometown club on Tuesday, charged with providing coach Matt Calland with half back cover as well as offering specialist tutoring to Fax’s pivot players.

“Graham’s here to work with the half backs, work on their kicking game, work on their decision making,” said Ball.

“The players would be silly not to take that advice.

“It’s okay us imposing Graham on them, but there has to be a little bit of them going to him and asking him for advice as well because he has so much to offer.”
