Graham in frame for Bulldogs return

England forward James Graham will make a belated start to the 2013 season this weekend following the completion of his 12-match ban.

The Canterbury Bulldogs prop, 27, has not played since being suspended for biting the ear of Melbourne full-back Billy Slater in last September’s NRL Grand Final.

The former St Helens captain missed England’s autumn internationals and was forced to sit out two trials and the opening seven rounds of the 2013 season but he was today named in the Bulldogs’ squad for Friday’s game against Wests Tigers.

Graham, who will return to the scene of his “crime”, the ANZ Stadium, served his suspension in silence and has this week refused all requests for media interviews.
