Ovenden will welcome back influential trio Jason Dodd, Matty Collins and Micky Holden for tomorrow’s Division Two game against Stanningley at Four Fields.
Gareth English’s side are aiming to recover from a 26-16 home loss to high-flying Shaw Cross last time out, a result that left their coach frustrated.
“We made an awful start and that killed us,” said English.
“We were 16-0 down after 10 minutes and after that it was an uphill battle.
“We’re not far away from beating these sides, but it’s very frustrating that we can’t get over the line.”
But the return of centre Dodd, prop Collins and half back Holden gives English options against the Leeds outfit.
“We’ve lost Nathan Smith to suspension, but we’ve got three good players coming back in to the side,” said English.
“It’s a strong squad, we’ve got decisions to make and some lads are going to be disappointed.”
