Halifax slipped off the top of the Championship table over the weekend after multiple-Grand Finalists Featherstone thrashed York 52-6.

Rovers are now level on points with Fax, but have a superior points difference.

Reigning champions Sheffield, who beat Fax 31-18 at Bramall Lane on Friday night, remain a point behind.

Crucially, both the Eagles and Rovers have played a game less than Karl Harrison’s side, who have now completed 14 of the 22 rounds.

Fax’s next league date is at Swinton, who lost out at Dewsbury yesterday, on Sunday (3.0).
