Warrington expect veteran prop Adrian Morley to be fit for Monday’s eagerly-anticipated Super League clash with Wigan.
The 36-year-old, who has already missed three months of the season with a biceps injury, pulled out of England’s clash with the Exiles last week with a groin strain.
Wolves’ Australian hooker Michael Monaghan was also not risked by the Exiles due to concerns over a knee condition.
Warrington coach Tony Smith said: “Both of them were gutted, they would have loved to have played.
“Anyone who knows Moz knows how much he wants to play for his country, but he handled it really well.
“By the end of the week he may have been able to play but he wasn’t able to train so he (England coach Steve McNamara) didn’t use him.
“But he was a big contributor to the camp, I know that. That’s fantastic feedback for Moz and about Moz.
