TOWN have made their second signing of the day with the arrival of young striker David Brown from neighbours Guiseley.
The 19-year-old - a former Nottingham Forest junior - is best remembered for scoring on his Bradford City debut against Macclesfield.
He made five appearances for City - all of them from the bench - before being released in the summer.
After pre-season a trial at York City, he joined Guiseley.
Earlier, Town signed veteran midfielder Paul Evans and released Jon Smith.
Evans, whose former clubs include Shrewsbury, Brentford, Bradford City and Nottingham Forest, was released by former Shay chief Chris Wilder's Oxford United earlier this month.
Brown and Evans are likely to go straight into the squad for the game at College Grove.
Smith joined Town in the summer after being released by Aberdeen and was a regular in the side for the opening months of the campaign.
But the arrival of Tom Baker, Scott Phelan and Damien Allen restricted his appearances and he had made just two starts since the middle of November - at Rossendale and Harrogate Railway.
