DUE to Todmorden being in the Blue Tongue restriction zone no cattle from the Lancashire and Greater Manchester were able to attend the show. Despite this an excellent entry of 45 beasts were present on the day. Entries came from as far afield as Goole, Doncaster and Leeds.
The overall champion of show was won by Mr Timms of Goole with a Limousin female over 18 months. The reserve champion was Mr Midgley of Luddenden with a cow from the Any Other Diary Cow class.
