Welterweight boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has been involved in an amazing clash with an American wrestler twice his size.

Mayweather got in the ring during the Raw event and had a heated exchange with the wrestler Big Show.

The WWE man pushed Mayweather across the ring and then the seven foot giant got down on to his knees to confront the boxer at face to face level.

But Mayweather launched a blistering attack, rapidly punching his huge rival four times - breaking his nose and badly cutting his mouth.

Mayweather then flew from the ring and the fuming Big Show chased out after him but could not catch the boxer.

Now it seems the two are to get into ring and fight officially although the massive size difference makes it hard to believe that would be possible - and Mayweather might perhaps do well to avoid the big grappler after his blistering attack.

He looked a very angry man.
