TWO men tried to steal cakes from a van during a delivery to a Nottingham city centre store.

The offenders are believed to have pushed the driver out of the way as they attempted to grab Mr Kipling cakes from the van, which was parked outside the Premier Convenience Store.
It is unclear whether the men escaped with any cakes after being disturbed by a store security guard.
A Notts police spokesman said: "We are looking for two men for offences of common assault and theft or attempted theft."
