The workshops have been arranged by Outta Place to hone the young dancers skills before the Dance Dialogue event on December 15.

The dialogue will see will be streamed live on the internet with a trans-Atlantic connection between Jamaica and the UK.

Alex Bennet of Outta Place said: “The venture is a means of allowing young people to express themselves through innovative and dynamic art forms, while coming together with their international peers in an exciting and extraordinary cultural event.”

The dialogue will be held at the Yorkshire Dance Studio, Leeds, with out dancers busting their moves virtually alongside their counterparts in Kingston, Jamaica.
