18 British layouts on show at Halifax Model Railway Club’s 41st Model Railway Exhibition

Train enthusiasts should make tracks to North Bridge Leisure Centre on Saturday and Sunday (28th and 29th September) for Halifax Model Railway Club’s 41st Model Railway Exhibition where 18 layouts from across Britain will be on show.

The exhibition includes a new layout built by members of the Halifax Club, called ‘Acton Parkway’ an image of which you can see above.

Other layouts include Bad Boderan, RS Tower, Eagle Rock, Budmouth, Kirkby Stephen, Spital, Sea Gone, Burtonport and Diggers.

Exhibitors are from as far away as Devon and Cornwall.

There will also be 20 trade stalls so visitors will be able to buy whatever they need for their new miniature railway empire or to upgrade their existing layout.

There are also refreshments, stacks of parking and disabled access.

Tickets cost £5 for adults (over 18), £3 for children (five to 18 with under five’s free).

A family ticket costs £14.

The exhibition hall will be open from 10am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
