Plenty of pretty pictures were created when artist Mary Loney gave a workshop to the Halifax Arts Society
More than 20 members of the society attended the Putting Figures in Your Painting workshop at Oddfellows Hall.
Brigitte McCartney, from the society, said: “We each covered a sheet of paper with charcoal, then created a landscape of our choice with rubber, chalk and charcoal. We then cut out silhouettes of figures in paper and positioned them on the landscape.
“We all enjoyed the laughter and fun that ensued from the making of the pictures.”
