Calderdale Industrial Museum held an Open Day, Saturday August 10.
From 10am - 4pm museum doors opened to members of the public interested in Calderdale industrial exhibits, history and education.
Geoff Bank, volunteer from Calderdale Industrial Museum Association, hosted museum tours on the day. He said: “The day was a real success with a good amount of foot fall through the doors.
“People really enjoyed the day and it was great entertainment for the children during the school holidays. We hope to hold another open day soon.”
Exhibits from a range of industries, including spinning, weaving, carpet-making, toffee-making, and machine-tool manufacture were all on display and were brought to life by museum guides.
The museum is on Square Road in Halifax town centre.
