Chloe’s first shoot - didn’t she do well!

It was supposed to rain, but the sun came out for this photoshoot with Runway 2015 winner Chloe Lockley-Middleton - her first professional assignment.

Former Brighouse High student Chloe (19) from Southowram, who works at Jack Wills, Halifax but later this year will start a degree in psychology at Huddersfield University was photographed at locations around Dean Clough, including bar and eaterie 53 Degrees North and the Crossley Gallery, by former Courier cameraman Jim Fitton.

She went through several changes of clothes provided by Runway co-sponsors Harveys of Halifax including brand names Lunar,Juniper, Gabor, Gerry Webber, Heavenly, Masai and Fiorelli.

Calderdale College students were responsible for Chloe’s hair; her make-up was courtesy of Harveys and the the shoot and clothes were co-ordinated with Bernadette Gledhill the owner of Morton-Gledhill - The Fashion Team, and third co-sponsor of the competition. As part of the prizeBernadette has offered Chloe an introduction to modelling course.

Said Bernadette: “Chloe was a natural and she looked absolutely great. I’m really looking forward to working with her.”

“Chloe was fantastic. She took instructions well and I didn’t have to ask her to do anything twice.

“She had a natural style and because of her height (Chloe is 5ft 10in) she wears clothes really well.

“You cans ee from the photographs that she was relaxed and enjoying herself which is quite remarkable as she has never done this kind of work before,” he said.

Chloe who brought her boyfriend Joe along to watch the shoot admitted.

“It was quite nerve racking to start with but once I got into it I enjoyed the shoot.

“This kind of experience will stand me in good stead for the the future,” she added.
