Eureka! hosted the launch of an energy book written in collaboration by 60 children from across the UK including Annabelle Maloney, pictured, and author Ciaran Murtagh.

The Powerful Story presents the past, present and future of energy. Publication was supported by British Gas’ Generation Green programme.

Kate Lemon, Generation Green Programme Manager at British Gas, said: “We were overwhelmed by the creativity of the children involved with The Powerful Story. The children have created a fantastic story and the exhibition has brought this to life in a truly interactive way.”

The energy book has been switched on in a Eureka! exhibition.

Eureka’s! Michelle Emerson said: “The exhibition is a great way for children to get to grips with energy in a fun and engaging environment.

“We’d urge as many families as possible to come along to Eureka! during their half term to experience the museum and The Powerful Story.”
