Hip hop and they are ready to bop

Started in 2007, the Yorkshire Youth Hip Hop Dance Festival has been attracting dancers and fans to Halifax ever since.

Hosted by The Workshop in St James’s Street, the festival brings together groups of young dancers and a variety of styles in a fantastic display of hip hop talent.

As well as showcasing a feast of young performance, the festival gives dancers the chance to compete in a spontaneous exhibition ‘dance-off’.

The festival will be held on Saturday, June 15, from 7pm and on Sunday, June 16 from 3pm. Tickets are £4 and on a ‘first come first served basis’ from 01422 323688.
