editorial image

Artistic youngsters can show off their patriotic pride in our Diamond Jubilee poster competition.

If you’re 16 or under and want a chance to appear on the front page of our Jubilee supplement in June, unleash your creativity and design your own special tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s 60 years on the throne.

From painting to sketching, crayons to computer images, your design can be in any medium and can be submitted to us as a hard copy or via email.

Your poster should be bright, fun and full of excitement for the celebratory bank holiday weekend from June 2 to 5 – think crowns, Union Jacks and everything that makes Britain brilliant!

The closing d ate for entries is Friday April 27. Designs submitted must be your own.

Please send your entry, along with your name, age, school and address, to Diamond Jubilee Poster Competition, Halifax Courier, King Cross Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 2SF.

Alternatively, you can deliver them to the Halifax Courier office, open from 9am Monday to Friday, or email your poster to newsdesk@halifaxcourier.co.uk.

So crack out your pens, paintbrushes and pads, and help make our Diamond Jubilee supplement one to remember!
