A great day was had on day two of the Halifax Festival.
The sun shone on the town as activities were had as part of the celebratory arts and culture festival.
While entertainment was held at the Piece Hall, cabaret shows were put on as part of the town centre events along with dance acts at Woolshops.
Elsewhere, the RSPCA held its own Furry Friends Open Day, the Square Chapel put on a Youth Theatre Showcase.
Tonight will act as an enthralling climax to the jam-packed day when people will be asked to keep an eye on the sky and experience a one-of-a-kind aerobatic spectacle from the Dream Engine Heliosphere.
Tumbling, turning and gliding, an acrobat will be suspended beneath a huge helium balloon exploring the space between street level and rooftops at the Piece Hall.
