Halifax Food and Drink Festival is returning for the eighth year running.

From June 20-21, live cooking demonstrations, 100 stall holders, and a homegrown Farmer’s Market will pop-up in the town’s centre, from 10am-5pm.

Local, national and international cuisines from around the world will tantalise the tastebuds of shoppers.

Marketing Halifax Chair, The Reverend Canon Hilary Barber said: “Halifax is proving to be one of the North’s leading food and drink festivals, gaining more and more recognition over the years and increasing visitor numbers in to the town centre annually, with over 27,000 visitors in 2014 making it the biggest town centre festival to take place in Halifax.”

The festival is free to attend.
