The Woolshops was transformed into a catwalk this weekend to showcase the latest fashion trends.
Models spent the day strutting their stuff on Saturday April 12 in five different fashion shows.
The five models wore outfits from across the Woolshops’ myriad of stores including Topshop, Topman, New Look, River Island, Peacocks, Mojo, Vision Express, Specsavers and Claire’s Accessories plus cosmetics from the Body Shop and Boots.
They also performed high energy flash mob style dance routines to entertain the crowds of Saturday shoppers.
The series of fashion shows have been organised by Sally Mansell, owner of the Fashion Show Company, whose international career has seen her rub shoulders with Hollywood A-listers such as George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg as well as working for prestigious clients like Mercedes and Aston Martin.
Sally, a mum-of-two, 48, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the fashion industry as a model, stylist and presenter, said: “This was very different to a traditional fashion show because the models could mix with the shoppers and actually chat to them about the clothes they were wearing. The outdoor centre made for a fantastic catwalk.”
