Classic bike show set to be better than ever before

The Rotary club of Sowerby Bridge's (RCoSB) fourth annual Classic Bike and scooter show promises to be bigger and better than before.

The event, which takes place on Sunday (May 28) from10.30am to 4pm, will be held at The Wharf in Sowerby Bridge.

As well as the usual exciting exhibits there will also be food stalls, games, a tombola and even a free cinema showing documentaries and films of classic bikes.

New for this year is a fun fair with swing chairs, a waltzer, hook a duck stall and a bouncy castle.

There will also be 2 donkeys for donkey rides, face painting and more.

Pre 1980 scooter and bikes can be entered into the show with 16 categories and there is a new one this year, post 1980 modern classics and custom bikes.

For the second year running there will be the Grand Classic Bike Show Raffle. First prize is £500, second prize is £100 and third prize is £50.

Entertainment on the day will include David Bowie and Elvis tribute acts, DJ Jiving Jeff who will be spinning 1950s tunes, the Rock and Rollers who will perform some moves and the Longswords dancers.

The pre entry fee is £5 and on the day is £6. Bikes and scooters need to arrive on the day between 8am and 10am and winners will be announced in the afternoon.
