Two time Yorkshire Pudding champion Chris Blackburn shared his skills with Steps star Claire Richards as part of a TV show set to hit our screens this weekend.
The Copley cook will appear on ITV’s Sunday morning show ‘Country House Sunday’ at 8.30am when we’ll see him offer his tips to the ex-pop star on how to make the perfect pud.
Chris was the star attraction at this year’s Halifax Food Festival cooking his Chinese Style Yorkshire Pudding with duck and Hoisin that impressed judges on the hit show ‘Food Glorious Food’.
Chris said Claire took to the kitchen well. He said: “She was very good, she loved the fact that we used beef drip in our Yorkshire Puddings so much so that she actually took a tub of beef drip home with her on the train.”
The latest ranges of Chris’ famous Yorkshire Puddings include a mars bar and profiterole versions.
