TWO up-and-coming acts will provide a double headliner at the Doghouse gig at Arden Road, Social Club, Halifax tonight at 8.30pm.

The ‘deliciously offbeat’ Plank! are made up of guitarist and synth player Dave Rowe, bassist Edward Troup and drummer Liam Stewart. The Manchester trio formed in 2010 and have been championed by Marc Riley and Stuart Maconie’s Freakzone.
Sharing the top billing will be Joe Tilston, whose music echoes with influences from his upbringing in and around the English folk scene. His parents are Hebden Bridge’s Steve Tilston and Maggie Boyle and his debut album is called Embers.
The gig will also include Tim Radins, The Stray and a DJ set by Russ.
Tickets are £7/£6 on the door .
