A new CD, which was recorded at last year’s Christmas concert, will be available to buy for £10 with all proceeds going to the hospice in Elland.

The CD, ‘Christmas with Overgate Hospice Choir’, features choral versions of two Basque carols - ‘Gabriel’s Message’ and ‘The Infant King’ - ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’, ‘Still Still Still’ and ‘Whence is that Goodly Fragrance Flowing’. Phillip McCann plays the stunning ‘Post Horn Gallop’ and Hammonds Saltaire Band plays ‘American Trilogy’ and ‘Sleigh Ride’.

Since the choir was formed 25 years ago it has raised more than £283,000 for the hospice.

The concert starts at 7pm and tickets are available from 01422 373252, Overgate Hospice and choir members.
