Darkened Arts promotions launches its first show of 2015 at Arden Road Social Club on Saturday May 16 (1:30pm) as a benefit in honour of Bradley McDonald.

At the end of 2014 the friends of Darkened Arts’ received news that Bradley who lives in Huddersfield, the nephew of a good friend of promoter Rick Millington was seriously ill and undergoing treatment for cancer.

“We at Darkened Arts want to do our bit for the family and raise some money for them to help them cover some costs they will incur during this sad time. All bands and persons involved in this gig have given their time and support to this show so we can raise as much as we can for the family,” said Rick. “We wanted to help in the best way we know how, by throwing a party in Bradley’s honour and making some noise!!

“Come and join us and see some spectacular bands, among those the internationally acclaimed A Forest of Stars,” he added. “All we ask is a suggested donation of £5 (or whatever people can afford) towards the cause and let us do Bradley and his wonderful family proud.”

Those taking part are A Forest Of Stars, Pravitas, Lammergeier, Tyrant, Cryptic Shift, Horrified, Exiled, Pteroglyph and Zealous.
