This year’s winning band was Marsden Silver Band with Knight Templar.

Participating bands included: Yorkshire Imperial Band; Knottingley Silver Band; Hebden Bridge Junior Band; Wardle Junior Blast; Huddersfield and Ripponden Band; Northern Ireland Maguiresbridge Silver Band; Elland Silver Band; Elland Silver Youth Band; Uppermill; Littleborough Band; Marsden Silver Band.

Organised by the Hebden Bridge Brass Band, the annual event is now in its seventh year. On Saturday, the band played Holland band Spijkerpakkenband at Calder High School, Mytholmroyd. Band trustee and Euphonium player, Steve Gardener, said: “It was a fantastic social and musical atmosphere throughout the day; bringing people from near and afar together to enjoy music that plays a big part in our heritage. Thank you to all our sponsors.”
