Already backed by an online following of over 55,000 fans on Facebook, Oxford’s twenty-year-old musician Lewis Watson is an integral part of a growing movement of talented young singer-songwriters such as Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Ben Howard and Jake Bugg.
After his debut EP ‘It’s Got Four Sad Songs On It BTW’ topped the iTunes singer-songwriter chart on the first day of release, outselling the likes of Adele, Madonna and Halifax’s own Ed Sheeran, Lewis’s second ‘Another Four Sad Songs’ EP continued his rise to prominence as publications including several national newsapers listed him as one of their top tips for 2013. His growing stardom has also seen him play gigs and achieve impressive chart positions in the States and Australia.
