Get ready with your leg warmers and ra-ra skirts - The Human League are coming to town.


The group whose pictures adorned many a bedroom wall back in the 80s will perform at The Victoria Theatre in Halifax on Saturday, December 1.
The show will be part of a 15-date tour celebrating the band’s 35 years in the business, entitled XXXV.
The band’s most famous track is the 1981 Christmas number one, Don’t You Want Me. 
They have had four top 10 albums and eight top 10 singles in the UK as well as two US number one singles and have sold 20 million records worldwide.
Time-travel saga Ashes To Ashes based one of its main characters on JoanneCatherall, while Philip Oakey appeared in a recent episode of TopGear at the behest of Jeremy Clarkson.
