A Hebden Bridge Arts Festival favourite returns to the town tonight (Friday, 7.45pm).

Red Ladder’s show ‘Wrong ‘Un’ at The Stubbing Wharf sold out at the festival, prompting the company to give it another outing.

Written by ex-Chumbawamba guitarist and writer Boff Whalley, ‘Wrong ‘Un’ is a one-woman musical performed by Ella Harris, who lives in Hebden Bridge. The musical drama tells of the adventures of Annie Wilde, a Lancashire mill-girl galvanised by a rousing mixture of injustice, conviction, self-doubt and fear on her journey from schoolroom to prison cell and beyond.

Tickets are £5 on the door.
