Comedy legends Su Pollard and Cannon and Ball will be riding through the glen in Bradford next week.
The side-splitting romp ‘Ha Ha Hood and the Prince of Leaves!’ will gallop onto the stage at St George’s Hall. Maid Marian, Nottinghamshire’s feistiest female, has been played in the past by screen goddesses Audrey Hepburn, Cate Blanchett and Uma Thurman - now it’s the turn of comedy icon Su Pollard, star of the BBC sitcom ‘Hi-de-Hi’.
Tommy Cannon takes on the role of the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and Bobby Ball is Little John.
The show is the latest laugh-out-loud production from the team behind ‘Ha Ha Holmes!’ and ‘Ha Ha Hamlet!’
Creator Ben Langley said: “I see the show as tribute to the great comedy artists and routines that made Britain funny over the last 50 to 100 years.”
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available on 01274 432000.
