Dramatic ballet with bite

Have your say

Northern Ballet promises a performance with a dramatic bite that will leave audiences thirsty for more when ‘Dracula’ returns to the stage of West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds, from September 5 to 13.

The ballet production is an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel, first published in 1897. The dark and sinister tale is told through Northern Ballet’s unique blend of dance, gripping theatre and gothic sets and costumes.

Choregrapher David Nixon said: “All creatures need to be loved and the love Dracula shares with Mina transcends the boundaries of love and evil.” Box office information is available on 0113 2137700.
