Start with a smattering of traditional folk music, add a handful of classical and jazz, throw in a sprinkling of pop and music hall, top it off with a dash of wry humour - and Belshazzar’s Feast will be served up in time for Christmas.
Paul Sartin, of Bellowhead and Faustus, and Paul Hutchinson of Hoover The Dog, will bring their inventive and impressive musicianship to Square Chapel arts centre, Halifax, on Sunday, December 14 at 7.30pm.
The two musicians are now on their Stocking Fillers tour. Paul Sartin is a singer, violinist, composer and arranger as well as editing publications of music manuscripts and delivering workshops. His recent composition ‘The Hartlepool Monkey’ for Streetwise Opera was nominated for a BASCA award.

Paul Hutchinson is a superb accordion player and experienced workshop leader at Cecil Sharp House. He has also played with the Playford Liberation Front and Karen Tweed. For tickets tel: 01422 349422.
