The new Victoria Theatre spring summer brochure is out this week! There’s something for everyone, from pantomime, children’s shows, make-a-day-of-it events, music, comedy and musicals. There’s also a record number of amateur and community based performances.

One of the highlights for fans of musical theatre is Miss Nightingale, a heart-warming and hilarious story of love and loss with a touch of burlesque which captures the gloriously saucy spirit of the 1940s.

Panto lovers will be delighted with the Easter pantomime, Peter Pan, starring comedy legend Bobby Davro, Dani Harmer (from Tracy Beaker and Strictly Come Dancing) and Lloyd Warbey (Disney’s Art Attack). The show will delight children of all ages during the Easter School holidays. And it’s not too early to book tickets for the winter Panto, Jack and the Beanstalk, starring Halifax hero Neil Hurst as Simple Simon.

Highlights for music fans include Sensational Silver 60s show, Joe Brown and The Elvis Years 1954-1977. Don’t miss the critically acclaimed Mario Kombou as Elvis who, with his band, will perform over 50 Elvis hits.

There is also a fantastic range of children’s shows on offer this season including the return of old favourites Peppa Pig and the Chuckle Brothers. Many of the children’s shows also offer ‘make-a-day-of-it’ activities including picnics, storytelling, crafting, drama, play and much, much more.
