YOUNG stars lapped up the ghoulish glitz and glamour of the red carpet at the Calderdale premiere of their film.
The screening, at a packed Hebden Bridge Picture House was for a 12A-rated zombie flick called Late Lunch starring Year 8 and Year 10 youngsters from Park Lane High, Exley, Halifax.

The 40-minute film has been 15 months in the making and all the stops were pulled out for the do.

Actors were driven by chauffeurs, a red carpet was laid out and even the paparazzi were on hand.

Scott Beedom, who works in the art department at Park Lane High, said: "About 250 of us turned up and it was brilliant. So much hard work has gone into this with students staying behind after school hours to help and the end product was amazing – very funny and very gory."
