Updated: Teenager who died in Todmorden crash named

An 18-year-old man who died in a car accident in Todmorden on Friday morning has been named.

Callum Regan Brown, of Todmorden, died when the Peugeot 106 he was in collided with a bus shelter and a tree on Burnley Road at around 3.20am.

A 17-year-old male occupant was also injured in the collision. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.

On Friday police launched a witness appeal.

PC Andy McManus, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said: “At this time we are appealing to anyone who would have been in or around the Burnley Road area of Todmorden around 320am and saw a Silver Peugeot 106 motor vehicle to contact us on 101.”
