With pieces such as Rule Britannia, Nimrod and Fantasy on British Sea Songs, there is sure to be a great patriotic feel to the evening which will crescendo to the grand finale with the stunning 1812 Overture.

All is aimed at providing the very best in entertainment and helping raise funds for the Breast Cancer Campaign through the re-appearance of the all ladies ensemble, “Boobs & Brass”.

From teaming up in 2008 for the concert, it was an unqualified success, and the two groups have maintained close ties ever since.

Most of the evening will involve the combined efforts of both bands, under the baton of the ever-popular Alan Morrison, who fills much of the remainder with some of Europe’s most popular concert items, with marches and dances to the fore.

Tickets are available for the show on Saturday, October 25, by calling 01484 223200 or online at www.kirklees.gov.uk/townhalls.
