Bankfield hosts annual art display
Bankfield Museum will be resplendent with works of art from this weekend as Halifax Art Society displays its annual exhibition.
The society was formed in 1875 and is still going strong, with a membership of around 40. Many of its members will be exhibiting work like the painting on this page by Dashamir Vaqarri who is is currently working towards a PhD in Fine Art at the University of Derby.
