Civic Hall transforms into The Cavern

Fancy reliving the 60s then head for Brighouse Civic Hall later this month for The Beatles: A Night at the Cavern with one of the best tribute bands around and another artist who will pay homage to the late, legendary Cilla Black.

The event takes place on Saturday, September 26 at 7.30pm as part of the Brighouse Arts Festival.

Earlier in the week music dominates the festival spirit with a formidable recital from Jenny Stafford and guests at the Smith Art Gallery (Monday, Sept 21); Calderdale Big Band at St Martin’s Parish Church on Tuesday, The Fixby Songbirds and Clifton Handbell Ringers at St John the Divine on Wednesday and talented classical guitar duo Peter Cain and Brian Perkins at the Salvation Army Citadel on Friday. Brighouse and Rastrick Band will also be playing at the Central Methodist Church.

If you are looking for something a little more sedate Prego’s restaurant is offering a three course meal with Italian entertainment, while The Miller’s Bar offers the slightly more raunchy Kitty Kat Klub burlesque evening (book directly with these venues).
