Dancing toremember

Falling at the time of Remembrance Sunday and Diwali - the five day Indian Festival of Lights celebration - this event The Unknown Becomes Known commemorates the great sacrifices made by Sikh, Muslim and Hindu soldiers from the Indian sub-continent fighting as part of the British Army during the First World War.

It takes place at Hebden Bridge Little Theatre from 5pm and 7pm on Sunday, featuring traditional Indian dance from Annapurna, music and a poetry reading by Dr Richard Coaten and talks by Dr Andrew Beck and Amerdeep Panesar.
