Calderdale TV dominates several categories at Royal Television Society Yorkshire Awards
and live on Freeview channel 276
Production companies based around the region have been recognised in the nods ahead of a ceremony next month.
Three TV dramas filmed and set in and around Calderdale, Ackley Bridge, Gentleman Jack and Last Tango in Halifax, have also received nominations in several categories.

Hide AdThe three nominees in the best actor category all come from Calderdale shows.
Amy-Leigh Hickman, who played Nas in Ackley Bridge, Anne Reid, Celia in Last Tango in Halifax, and Suranne Jones, Anne Lister in Gentleman Jack, are all up for the award.
The writer category is also made up of Calderdale TV nominees with Ayub Khan-Din up for Ackley Bridge and Sally Wainwright nominated for both Gentleman Jack and Last Tango in Halifax.
Ackley Bridge and Gentleman Jack are also up in the drama category alongside Channel 4's The Virtues.

Hide AdNominated for use of music and sound is Murray Gold for work on Gentleman Jack as well as Tim Phillips for Ackley Bridge.
Gentleman Jack dominates the nominations for Professional Excellence: Drama and Comedy Production with all three nominations going to the drama about the life of Halifax diarist Anne Lister.
