A chance to really get into character
Join an immersive screening of Wes Anderson's The Royal Tenenbaums on Friday June 10 (7pm) at Square Chapel.
The screening of the Oscar-nominated film will take place amongst live entertainment and themed refreshments, infusing the Grade II* listed Georgian chapel with the spirit of wild irreverence for which Anderson is known.
This night of retro revelry is available for a suggested donation of just £20, with all funds contributing to the Arts Centre development.
The immersive screening will take place only weeks before Square Chapel temporarily closes for a £6.6m refurbishment and extension. This will transform the venue into a 108 seater multi-purpose studio/cinema space, level access to the main auditorium, a café-bar area and direct access into the Piece Hall’s new interpretation centre.
The Royal Tenenbaums are a family like no other brought to life by Anderson’s trademark wit, charm and dark humour. Its all-star cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Stiller. Audiences are encourage dress up as their favourite Tenenbaum.
Doors will open at 7pm on Friday June 10, with the screening from 8.15pm. To reserve your place at what is set to be an unforgettable event at a landmark moment in the Arts Centre’s history, please email [email protected] or call 01422 349422..
