Halifax is taken back in time as BBC series Gentleman Jack films at The Piece Hall
Today (Tuesday) two icons of Halifax will collide as The Piece Hall is closed to allow for the filming of Gentleman Jack.
Here are nine pictures showing the crew setting up for today's filming, taken yesterday (Monday) by Ellis Robinson at The Piece Hall.
The filming comes a week after cameras were spotted in Saltaire.
Gentleman Jack, written by Sally Wainwright, follows the life of Halifax diarist Anne Lister of Shibden Hall. The BBC HBO show is currently filming for its second series.
