Heading down the track to Todmorden

The Hippodrome in Todmorden plays host this weekend to a musical that’s destined to go all the way to the West End.

How do we know? Well co-writer and internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Rick Guard has told us so. The Todmorden date is the last of the year. The production will spend two weeks in Edingburgh next year then will move to one of three theatres in the West End producers are currently talking to. Stop the Train tells the story of a group of passengers on a busy commuter train, where the unorthodox behaviour of a mysterious passenger, awakens their dreams and ambitions.

The show is being followed by a Channel 4 documentary crew and also features a cameo from Russell Grant.
